Espeon used Light Screen!

The story is, they're having a friendly battle. Eevee is enjoying herself, and Espeon is too.

As for an about on this image. First of all, I'm really sorry. The reason why, is because I had to trace this Espeon. I posed one of the models in Garry's Mod and traced around that. The reason why, was because an image I thought I drew perfectly, ended up not looking right at all, and I said "Screw it" and deleted it. I spent nearly over two hours drawing it, I was just getting frustrated. I feel so ashamed of the result that I've done my best to remove all traces of it. Because it looks awful. So yes, this Espeon in the image is traced and looks better. Sorry. I'm not talented at all.

As for the technical stuff. I wanted to add lighting to the grass, but I couldn't. So I decided to apply only shadow to the trees which are far away enough. Light screen was a challenge to draw (Kinda). I referenced what it looked like in the anime. I think I got it? It's a bit off, but it works. The background was fairly easy to draw. I'm glad I found a style that I can get used to. The clouds are a little different. The reason I did this was because I noticed in the previous image, I had used way too much purple. And it made the background look slightly bland. Here, I have a mix of blue, pink, meat, purple, meat, and blue. All in the clouds. Then I added bloom, which for some reason wouldn't work in the previous image. This is my best background yet. It's not only simple, it's got a reasonable amount of things to look at. The only thing I wish I could add if I had the experience, is flowers and multicolored trees. 

I'm glad I could get this done though. I have a lot of work ahead of me. This was partially rushed if you want to believe it. And this image was made in one day. I think I spent around 12 or 14 hours on it? I don't time myself, and I don't care how long it takes, as long as it looks good.
