Superman is the one who's responsible for the death and destruction at Metropolis, others believe he's a hero, others believe he's the cause. Same as Godzilla others believe he's a hero at San Francisco, others believe he's a threat for the deaths and destruction.
Batman as a child he lost both of his parents at that alley and mourn the deaths. Same as Kong he cried he watch as both of his parents were slaughter by the Skull Crawlers, he mourn the deaths.
