These are Oodemari—or Japanese Snowballs—out of which I've coaxed a rainbow of colours. I wanted to bring them alive on a screen, so the gentle patter of raindrops, the scents of flowers and wet earth, the appreciative murmurs of passers-by, are interpreted for you in colour.
If you look really hard, perhaps you can also taste the skyberry ice cream. It's a variant of the strawberries for which Tochigi Prefecture is so famous, and you don't want to miss it.
