SYNOPSIS -

The Hopi say that the Kachinas come down from the stars via the top of the San Francisco Peaks near Flagstaff, Arizona. They do this once a year and as such, the peaks are Sacred Ground. I was privileged to have witnessed a few Hopi Dances and ceremonies related to this as well as those of the Navajo (Dineh).

I miss my Desert Southwest and so badly wish to be back there.
