M noticed this contest (kind of late) and wanted to participate. I figured, we could at least give it a chance. It's an awesome challenge, and aside from some baby-steps into Flowers,Trees & Plants/ Landscape Photography, pretty much out of our comfort zone.
Since we are trying to challenge ourselves and our photography still, this is a prompt we would gladly give a try.

M goes to work by train, and she spotted this field of Marigolds (though before this, we had no idea this is the English name for this cute and pretty flower!). She managed to find it by bike, and she has tried to take photos 3 times - once by herself, once with our Dad, and once with me.
This last trip we found out that Marigolds are planted here to manage the soil and rid it off diseases and pests in a natural way before the vegetable are sown.
Talk about absolute flower power
