And here we are, folks!
Time to deploy something new for the Confederacy of Independent Systems.
And it's time to take a look at the BX Commando droids.
These Clankers gave the clones a run for their money from the first moment they appeared on screen during The Clone Wars. And here we see them during the attack on Rishi Station.
Like their brothers, I decided to redesign these guys with a more industrial look.
Like their canon counterparts, my redesign aims to resemble a cross between the B1 and the B2, creating a droid less armored than the latter but more agile and lethal, with a more powerful AI, making this droid suitable for both the battlefield and sabotage and infiltration operations.
As for its equipment, this droid carries the E-5 blaster rifle, which it uses both individually and in combination with its vibroblade (which has been reduced in size due to the uselessness of a longsword in a firearms fight). On its shoulders, it carries a folded BX-series sniper rifle. And, duly attached to its frame, are extra pouches for ammunition and explosives.
