Ebirah Extreme

Ebirah Extreme concept commission for Batwing89's fan redesign series Godzilla Extreme.

M.A.D file:

First identified via a massive piece of old exoskeleton, it took the A.G.B.F. weeks to find Ebirah, and when they did, it was clear they should have left him alone at the deepest recesses of the ocean. Being a mutated type of undiscovered pistol shrimp, Ebirah greeted the discovering fleet with a giant cavitation shockwave that caused tsunamis hundreds of meters tall. Numerous coastlines were fractured and devastated, estimated loss of life is 3 million from one snap of his claw.

Ebirah hasn't entered combat with other kaiju numerous times. But conflict has been observed, particularly with Titanosaurus, Manda, Gigan and Godzilla. Usually keeping to the bottom of the ocean, Ebirah understands how to stay hidden. It's thought that Ebirah might have been created by a large deposit of magnus radiation that broke off of Celestial Fragment Apex, and fell into the ocean.

Being a pistol shrimp, Ebirah's most powerful ability is his giant oversized claw. Capable of being used on both in the water and land, using the claw in the water is far more dangerous. The power output is estimated to be billions of times more powerful than the average pistol shrimp.

The other claw is significantly smaller, but still dangerous. The insides of the claw are lined with numerous spiked teeth used for gripping and stabbing prey.

Ebirah's shell is also significantly powerful, able to repel numerous types of weaponry. Though higher output beam type weapons have been observed to cause damage. Gigan was able to cut Ebirah in half during a battle. But Ebirah survived and returned healed in less than a few months.

Current Consensus: Given the sheer nuclear level capabilities of his larger claw, Ebirah is a significant threat to human life. However, he is not hyper aggressive like other monsters, and usually tends to hide in the deep ocean. Thus limiting repeat disasters. Nevertheless, Ebirah must be terminated all the same.
