EVERYONE IS HERE! ... except for [insert beloved character with cult following here] Sound familiar?
If you're a big fan of Kirby 64, then this game might not be for you. 
Kirby Air Riders has finally released, the long awaited sequel to the original Kirby Air Ride (2003) by none other than Mr. Soccer Guy himself!
Anyways, I finally bought the game for myself, and of course, every game Sakurai touches is a work of art! The game is full of content, love, and care that most games lack today. Easily a peak game! No doubts about that!
(I got my Bandana Boi + The Communist Jester, so I'm more than satisfied!) 
Still, I can't help but feel it's a strange choice that most of the Dream Friend characters from Kirby Star Allies (minus the 3 Sisters) are all playable Riders for this game, except for a Kirby 64 rep in particular, with the abscence of Adeleine and/or Ribbon.
Let's be clear, I 100% now believe Sakurai DOES NOT hate modern Kirby (yes, he still heavily prefers his era of games, but I would too if I were him), so it's good to know he beat most of the allegations! But it seems as though the 'so-called' fact he dislikes humans being presented in the Kirby series still stands.
On one hand, I agree that Kirby should be a series focused primarily on non-human characters. On the other hand, I did not care much for Adeleine before I played Kirby 64, but after finally playing that game and enjoying it, I grew a newfound appreciation for her. So even if Sakurai insists "no humans" are to be present within Kirby, I think Ade should've been the sole exception, if anything (Ribbon the Fairy might stand a chance, though)
So yeah, to all Kirby 64 fans out there, I feel your pain. Sakurai also said no paid DLC, so unless he pulls a Star Allies "free DLC updates" in waves down the road, then we won't be seeing poor Adeleine anytime soon for the forseeable future. Wish I was wrong though. 
Anyhow, I noticed I've been making quite a lot of SpongeBob references/memes with my art lately, so this one is the "Squidward Looking Out the Window" meme, based on the episode "That Sinking Feeling". Drawn in my personal style, ofc. Enjoy!
